Educational Qualification

Office Assistant and Officer Scale I candidates generally require a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Computer knowledge is required/desirable as prescribed, and candidates must meet the applicable local-language requirement of the participating RRB. Officer Scale II specialist posts have discipline-specific qualifications and experience requirements. Scale II General Banking Officer and Scale III also require prescribed banking/financial-sector experience. Candidates must check the exact notification for their selected post.

Age Limit

The age requirement varies by post. Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III have different prescribed age bands, with category-wise relaxations under Government rules. Candidates should calculate age using the date and limits stated in the CRP-RRBs-XV notification.

Application Fee

The fee is ₹850 for candidates in the general applicable category and ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, inclusive of applicable GST, as prescribed by IBPS. The notification should be checked for the exact exemptions applicable to each cadre.
