MECL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Eligibility varies by post. Accountant requires graduation and Intermediate pass in CA/ICWA with relevant experience. Technical posts require the prescribed ITI, Diploma or B.Sc. qualification depending on the position. Assistant posts require the prescribed graduate-level qualification. Junior Driver requires Class 10, valid LMV and HMV licences and the prescribed driving experience.
The maximum age for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years, with applicable relaxation for eligible reserved categories and Ex-Servicemen.
MECL Salary 2026
Selected candidates receive basic pay along with IDA, HRA, perks and allowances, PF, NPS, group performance-related incentive, medical insurance and other benefits under MECL rules. The basic pay scales range from ₹19,600 to ₹55,900 depending on the post.
MECL Selection Process 2026
The process includes application screening, written competitive examination, document verification and a skill/trade test wherever applicable. The written test carries 100% weightage for merit.
